JUDGE JUDY RULES

judgejudy.jpg

Socialite Paris Hilton was rightly jailed for violating probation, according to TV star Judge Judy Sheindlin.

“Paris Hilton is a criminal - a little criminal, but a criminal.”

Man I love Judge Judy. She’s such a straight talker. Rare in today’s USA (see Jim’s rant on WDP).

I’d let her bang my gavel anytime, if you know what I mean.

In the past I’ve ragged on “the greatest generation.” but at least they got sh*t done. And they know what the hell they are talking about. It’s true. What this country needs the most is straight talk.

JUSTICE SERVED.

paris-jailagain.jpg

Screaming and crying, Paris Hilton was escorted from a courtroom and ordered back to jail Friday after a judge, overruling the county sheriff, said she must serve out her entire 45-day sentence behind bars rather than in her Hollywood Hills home.

“It’s not right!” shouted Hilton, who violated her probation in a reckless driving case. “Mom!” she called out to her mother in the audience.

She cried throughout the hearing, dabbing her eyes, and her body shook constantly. Several times, she turned to her parents, seated behind her in the courtroom, and mouthed, “I love you.”

Despite being ordered to serve the remainder of her original 45-day sentence, Hilton could still be released early. Inmates are given a day off their terms for every four days of good behavior, and her days in home detention counted as time served.

I’d love to say this is over, but as you all are surely aware, this seems far from over.

Appeals are coming Monday morning, fights between Sheriff and Judge coming, Medical conditions coming, etc etc etc. This has the smell of never ending story to me.

What a great looking into our Judicial Branch of government. Pay attention kiddies because not since OJ Simpson have we had a lesson in money buys you everything, especially protection from the law.

Mel Gibson was a huge contributor to the Sheriff’s campaign fund (remember they are elected like most other politicians!) and apparently so was Hilton Sr. Sr., as in Paris’ grandfather.

All I know is: that Girl’s Gone Wild guy is blowing his top in his prison cell. He doesn’t get his Xanax, he has panic attacks, and he is just as much a pain in the ass, yet he ain’t going anywhere, not even for 1 day like some Blondes.

Before you feel sorry for Paris about serving her WHOLE time… here’s the deal. Paris was put in a single cell when she went to jail for the first time. She had a “panic” button in her cell, just in case she was gonna, oh I don’t know… die. Short of being in MORTAL danger, she was not supposed to push the button. What did paris do? She pushed it. Again. And Again. And Again.

She was cold, she was lonely, she was freaking out, she had no pillow, she was scared… etc., etc. etc. Basically she was a pain in the ass. Couple that with the fact that a camera phone shot of her in her cell could fetch upwards of $500,000 bucks, the Sheriff didn’t want her in his jail anymore. A late night deal was struck, and she was sprung.

Now… it wasn’t HER fault that the Sheriff let her go… BUT it IS her fault that she is such a spoiled brat and didn’t take the whole thing seriously. THAT’S why the judge threw the book at her.

If you can’t take 30 days in jail… in your OWN cell… well then you’ve got real problems. Hey Paris. Welcome to the real world. Hope you get some perspective on how the rest of us live. Moron.

FREE BIRD? OR GIVE HER THE BIRD?

paris-backinjail.jpg

Paris Hilton’s release from jail may be short lived. Hours after she was sent home under house arrest Thursday for an undisclosed medical condition, the judge who put her in jail for violating her reckless-driving probation ordered her into court to decide if she should go back behind bars.

Hilton must report to court at 9 a.m. Friday, Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini told The Associated Press.

Late Thursday, he filed a petition questioning whether Sheriff Lee Baca should be held in contempt of court for releasing Hilton — and demanding that she be held in custody. Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer’s decision to haul Hilton back to the courtroom came shortly after.

“She would have gotten out early if she was plain Jane,” said Leonard Levine, who has handled numerous probation violation cases. He noted that overcrowding in the Los Angeles County jail system has led to thousands of nonviolent offenders serving only 10 percent of their sentences. “She did as much time as a normal person would have done.”

Rene Seidel of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services said he had “never heard of” an inmate being released from jail for a medical condition.

I know everyone is sick of hearing this, but come on, it is now National Spotlight and a National Debate on how our justice system works. And I gotta tell you, I’m kinda interested to see how this one works out.

If I were the Judge, and knowing how pissed off he is at this mess, I would so throw her back in jail. Let her go to the Prison Clinic or Hospital Wing and get Xanax….

You better believe this makes a debate question come election time, cause they always ask the next Pres to be a stupid ass question like this where the Pres has no f-ing power over it whatsoever.

Just when you think you are out… they pull you back in. Both for Paris and for use poor blog writers and readers. Looks like we will all have to wait for the final verdict.

Something about all this smells fishy. How does the judge who sentenced Paris not know she was being let out? How was the prosecutor not informed? Who came up with this “new” sentence of 40 days house arrest?

If paris is sick in jail, send her to the infirmary. That’s what it is there for. If she is not eating, stick an I.V. in her. I hope she has to go back for the whole 45 days now. I hope she gets the book thrown at her and her lawyer gets disbarred. Let’s go California court system. Do the right thing. The whole country is watching…
